What do you want the District of North Vancouver to be like in 2030? What would make it a better place to live, work and play?
The District of North Vancouver is reviewing its
Official Community Plan (OCP) to create a vision and directions
for a bright and sustainable future. The OCP will be an
important document that will help guide decisions on things
like where we locate housing, what our transportation
priorities are, and how we provide recreational and municipal
services.
The District is committed to involving a broad spectrum of residents in meaningful dialogue and an open process as the new plan is developed. As part of this dialogue, Councillor Bassam and Community Planners from the District of North Vancouver will be in attendance at the Canadian Iranian Foundation’s meeting on September 20th to discuss the development of the new OCP. The District will present a series of activities designed to get your opinion. What are your top issues and priorities? What are your ideas for the future? Take this opportunity to tell us what you think and help plan the future of the District.

We are inviting all of our members, students, and everyone
who is interested in volunteering on that date to attend
this meeting. CIF will acknowledge their volunteer work
at the volunteer appreciation ceremony and will give them
a certificate acknowledging their hours volunteered.
